Electronics Service Technician Wanted 

NextWave Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join our team repairing audio equipment, TVs, and other electronic devices to component level.

The ideal applicant will:

• Have proven experience in electronic fault finding and component-level repair

• Be confident working on audio equipment, TVs, amplifiers, and related electronics

• Have experience or knowledge in repairing vintage electronic gear (preferred)

• Be physically fit and capable of handling workshop duties and lifting equipment when required

• Hold a full driver’s license, ability to be able to drive a manual van

• Be comfortable dealing directly with customers during onsite repairs and service work

• Be willing to travel for onsite jobs throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions when required

• Have a strong work ethic and take pride in achieving successful repairs

• Be willing to go the extra mile to diagnose difficult faults and complete repairs properly

• Be reliable, motivated, and able to work independently

Experience in soldering, circuit diagnosis, reading schematics, and using electronic test equipment is essential.

This role would suit someone passionate about electronics repair who enjoys problem-solving and takes satisfaction in bringing equipment back to life.
